Sirix is a North American wholesale monitoring provider. We deliver remote video monitoring, site management, and security technologies exclusively to security integrators and installers. We do not sell to end-users, and we never compete with our partners for their clients.
Behind every partner, we combine AI video analytics with trained, bilingual operators who verify every event, act on the site protocol, and document what happened in a time-stamped report.

From security roots in 2003 to AI-driven command centers
Each step below came from the same decision: solve the problem our clients actually had, then build the capability to keep solving it.
2003
Daniel Cyr founds DCI Consultants
Daniel Cyr opens DCI Consultants, providing IT consulting services to small and medium businesses. The first major security project follows in 2005, for a large Toyota dealership in downtown Montreal.
2006
DCI Security is created
DCI Security launches, providing security systems integration to high-end residential, corporate, and public-sector clients. In 2007, the first client is connected to a video monitoring center, integrating analytics and perimeter protection for remote monitoring.
2013
Two acquisitions build monitoring muscle
Chartrand St-Germain, a security company with a state-of-the-art video monitoring center, is acquired and begins operating as DCI Protection. Protectel, another major security services company, follows in 2014.
2016
Sirix is founded
Sirix is founded with a single focus: providing monitoring services exclusively to security integrators. Purpose-built stations, bilingual operators, written site protocols, and live audio intervention become the core of the business.
2021
Redundancy, engineering, and hardware in house
A second, fully redundant command center comes online so monitoring continues if one site ever goes dark. An internal engineering group takes over integrations and tooling, and Sirix begins assembling and testing its own autonomous security units.
2023
AI across the portfolio, hardware of our own
Detection is tuned site by site until AI filters the overwhelming majority of false alarms before an operator is engaged, and Sirix begins manufacturing its own perimeter security products.
October 2023
First camera SASB boxes deployed
The first Sirix camera SASB boxes go into the field, putting cameras, analytics, lighting, and live audio on sites with no existing infrastructure and connecting them straight into the command center.

Sirix runs AI-assisted command centers serving security integrators across the United States and Canada, with more than 50 security professionals behind them.
